그동안 많은 분들께서 《아드리안 비야르 로하스: 적군의 언어》에 보내주신 관심과 애정에 진심으로 감사드립니다. 여러분과 함께 전시를 만들어 갈 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 전시 종료를 3일 앞둔 1월 29일, 《아드리안 비야르 로하스: 적군의 언어》의 마지막 야간개장이 열립니다. 창밖으로 펼쳐진 현재 인류의 풍경과, 작가가 구축한 가상의 세계가 한 공간 안에서 겹쳐지는 새로운 시간. 낮과는 전혀 다른 감각으로 전시를 마주할 수 있습니다 :) 어둠이 내려앉은 미술관에서 새로운 세계를 다시 한번 상상해보고 싶다면 마지막 야간개장, 절대 놓치지 마세요. 그리고 2월 2일부터 아트선재센터는 다음 전시를 위해 또 다른 시작을 준비합니다! 🎵 3월, 새로운 전시로 다시 찾아뵙겠습니다! ✨
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shown interest and affection for Adrián Villar Rojas: The Language of the Enemy. Being able to shape this exhibition together with our audiences has made this time meaningful. Three days before the exhibition closes, on January 29, we invite you to the last late-night opening of Adrián Villar Rojas: The Language of the Enemy. It is a rare moment in which the present landscape of humanity, visible beyond the windows, overlaps with the fictional world constructed by the artist within a single space. The exhibition reveals itself through an entirely different sensibility after sunset :) If you would like to imagine the world after human extinction, in a museum settled into darkness, don’t miss this very last late-night opening. From February 2, Art Sonje Center begins preparing for our next exhibition! We’ll be back in March with a new exhibition.

《아드리안 비야르 로하스: 적군의 언어》의 종료가 아쉬운 분들은 작가의 아티스트북과 30주년 기념 굿즈를 더 북스에서 만나보세요! 아드리안 비야르 로하스의 아티스트북 『전쟁의 가장 아름다운 순간 시리즈에서』(2023)는 2014년부터 진행해 온 DMZ 프로젝트의 과정을 담고 있습니다. 작가는 철원군 양지리에 머물면서 마을 주민들의 모습이 담긴 영상을 찍기도 하고, 빈 집에 새로운 작업을 진행하기도 했는데요. 작가의 영상 작업 <전쟁의 가장 아름다운 순간>(2017)은 제69회 베를린 국제영화제와 제12회 광주비엔날레에 소개되기도 했습니다. 비야르 로하스의 다른 작업이 궁금하신 분들은 더 북스로 오세요! 더 북스에는 책 뿐만 아니라 굿즈도 있답니다. ✨ 아트선재센터 30주년을 기념한 굿즈, '생존을 위한 마이크로 더플백'은 전장에서 장비를 실어 나르던 군용 더플백을 오늘의 일상을 위한 크기로 축소한 가방인데요, 이인우와 강문식 디자이너가 군장의 구조와 형태를 현대적인 오브제로 재구성해 디자인했습니다. 가상공간의 잔상과 왜곡된 신호에서 착안한 디지털 카모 그래픽을 더해 현실과 비물질적 세계가 겹쳐지는 이미지를 담았어요! 👀 끈 길이를 조절해 형태를 자유롭게 연출할 수도 있답니다! 🛍️ 다음 전시 준비를 위해 더 북스 오프라인 매장은 잠시 쉬어가지만, 온라인 스토어는 계속 열려있습니다. 더 북스 온라인 스토어 방문은 아래 버튼을 꾹 눌러주세요!
If you’re feeling a sense of reluctance as Adrián Villar Rojas: The Language of the Enemy comes to a close, we invite you to explore the artist’s publications and Art Sonje Center’s 30th anniversary merchandise at THE BOOKS. Adrián Villar Rojas’s artist book From the series The Most Beautiful Moment of War (2023) documents the process of his long-term DMZ Project, which he has been developing since 2014. During his stay in Yangji-ri, the artist filmed video works featuring local residents and created new works inside vacant houses in the village. His video work The Most Beautiful Moment of War (2017), which captures scenes of village life, was presented at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival and the 12th Gwangju Biennale. If you’re curious to learn more about the artist’s practice, visit THE BOOKS. In addition to publications, you’ll also find a selection of merchandise available in-store. To celebrate Art Sonje Center’s 30th anniversary, we present the Micro Duffle for Survival, a scaled-down reinterpretation of a military duffle bag once used to carry equipment on the battlefield. Designed by Inwoo Lee and Moonsick Gang, the bag reimagines the structure and form of military gear as a contemporary everyday object. Featuring a digital camouflage graphic inspired by residual images and distorted signals from virtual space, the design evokes an overlap between reality and the immaterial world. The bag’s adjustable straps also allow for flexible styling and multiple forms.
