《피곤한 야자수》는 야자수와 다른 식물들을 상징적인 경계 침입자이자 이주 주체로 집중 조명하며, 이들을 둘러싼 여러 사회 현상을 다룬 작품들을 선보입니다. 소개된 작업들은 공통적으로 식물이 상징적으로 고통받고 피곤하다는 점을 암시합니다. 식물을 의인화해 접근한 이번 전시는 기후와 환경 위기를 식물의 관점을 통해 바라보며 새로운 공감대를 형성하고자 합니다.
Tired Palm Trees aims to form an empathetic view of climate change and the environment by anthropomorphizing them as symbolic trespassers of borders and migratory subjects through the works of eight artists who address some of the many social phenomena surrounding plants.

많은 관심을 받은 도슨트 학교 5기의 첫 모임이 지난 6월 19일 진행되었습니다. 도슨트 학교는 큐레이터, 에듀케이터 그리고 여러 분야의 전문가들과 함께 두 달간 전시를 공부하고 실제로 전시 해설을 진행 해보는 프로그램입니다. 8월 《서도호: 스페큘레이션스》의 이해를 도울 도슨트의 활동에 많은 기대 부탁드립니다.
