As October draws to a close, the leaves are turning vibrant shades of autumn. Art Sonje Center welcomes the year’s final season with four exhibitions.
On the third floor, Space 2 presents Meiro Koizumi: The Fire, an Archive, the artist’s first institutional solo exhibition in Korea, exploring the intersection of personal experience and collective memory. On the second floor, Space 1 presents Haneyl Choi: Sleepwalking, featuring twelve new sculptures that explore representations of the body, including the artist’s first kinetic work. Across The Ground on the first floor, the Hanok Garden, and the Rooftop Garden, Verticals explores non-masculine forms of verticality through sculptures and installations by seven artists and architects. In the Art Hall on the basement floor, 2mc1dj: Event Volume 3 unfolds as a film without a screen, a sound play told entirely through sound without moving images.
From the rooftop to the underground theatre, we invite you to explore a different exhibition on every floor.
