◾ Student Evaluation Process:
To advance to the next level, students MUST achieve a total weighted average score of 70/100. This score is composed of 50% participation and 50% combined scores from the mid-term and final exams. Students who meet this requirement will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to register for the next level in the following semester.
Please note that re-enrollment is not automatic at Seorae Global Village Center. You must register for each semester yourself after reviewing the available course offerings.
◾ Attendance Rules:
✔️ No-show Policy: If you miss 4 consecutive classes without prior notice, you will be automatically withdrawn from the class and will not be able to register for the next level.
✔️ Excused absences: Absences for *valid reasons will not be counted toward your participation rate.
*Valid reasons include: accident, illness, family emergencies, medical appointments, immigration office visits, business trips, job interviews, and other urgent matters. Vacation or leisure travel is not considered a valid reason for absence.
✔️ Impact of Absences: Invalid absences will affect your participation rate, which is one of the factors used to determine your eligibility to progress to the next semester.
✔️ Repeated Withdrawals: If you have a history of frequent withdrawals during a semester, your application for re-enrollment may be denied.
✔️ Advance Notice for Absences: If you cannot attend a class or need to leave early, please inform your teacher or a staff member in advance.
* If you plan to be consistently late or need to leave early throughout the semester, please avoid applying for the course.
✔️ Tardiness and Early Departure: If you are late or leave class early without notice three times, these instances will be counted as an absence.
✔️ Late Policy: Being late means arriving 1-10 minutes after the class begins. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may not be allowed to enter the class, and this will be considered a no-show.
