Summer has passed, and autumn is here.
October is an especially meaningful month for us.
It’s the time we share the achievements and joy of the meals that we, together with our volunteers, prepared for those in need.

2024 September Meal Tracker
In September, we worked with 98 volunteers to deliver a total of 3,076 meals to seniors!
Of these, 1,514 meals were prepared in the Legacy Kitchen. As always, they were delivered to seniors through walking deliveries and via partner organizations in Jongno, Seoul Station, and Yeongdeungpo.
September was especially meaningful, with many partner organizations visiting and volunteering with us. We were joined by teams from Shinhan Bank, Airbnb, Databricks, and many more.

2024 KLC GALA!
On October 25th, we held our biggest annual event, the KLC GALA, with great success!
This year’s GALA, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, shone even brighter thanks to the warm interest and participation of so many people.🎉
We were especially grateful for the many generous gifts from our sponsors, the raffle donations, and the incredible performances that made the evening unforgettable!
🎉 An Artistic and Moving KLC GALA Stage!
With MC Seon-geun Kim leading the evening, a lineup of talented artists presented unforgettable performances.
👵 Boram Halmae Theater Group kicked off the GALA with an energetic rap performance that shared the struggles and joys of seniors, delighting the audience and setting a lively tone.
🎤 LeeZE captivated the crowd with her soothing voice, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.
💃 Ambiguous Dance Company brought an intense, exciting energy to the event with their powerful performance. They showcased a piece from their upcoming "Body Concert," celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025, which will run from February 26. Tickets for this modern dance performance will go on sale at 2 PM on November 20, offering dance lovers an unforgettable experience!

We are thrilled to announce that the Korea Legacy Committee has received a letter of recognition from the Mayor of Seoul!
This award is a meaningful recognition of the continuous efforts made by our team, volunteers, and supporters in providing ongoing care for seniors in need.
A huge thank you to all of you once again! This achievement was made possible thanks to your warm support and dedication.

KLC Chef's Night with the Talented Chefs from the Popular Show Culinary Class Wars! 🍽️
Have you heard of the hit show Culinary Class Wars? Some of you may already be fans, while others may be hearing about it for the first time.
We’re excited to share that several chefs who have participated in our KLC charity event, Chef's Night, are featured on the show! These busy and popular chefs have graciously joined us in KLC’s mission, sharing their skills and time to support our cause with kindness and generosity. 🎉 |

Chef Yoon Areum’s Special Gift of Giving 🍠
Chef Yoon Areum, a former contestant on MasterChef Korea, who joined us for April’s Chef’s Night, generously donated the proceeds from a fundraising event held at her restaurant!
Additionally, Chef Yoon’s father sent us a very special gift—300 servings of pesticide-free sweet potatoes from his own farm. With his donation, we prepared delicious sweet potato salads to share a warm meal with our seniors.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Chef Yoon and her father. We hope that KLC’s positive influence continues to reach many more people. 💕 |

Legacy Kitchen, where meals are prepared, is seeking donations of kitchen supplies and ingredients to provide warm meals to more elderly individuals.
