ASEZ Volunteers Carried out Graffiti Removal and Street Cleanup at Lehman College

Bronx, New York – May 13, 2025. As part of the “Reduce Crime Together” campaign, the international university student volunteer group ASEZ returned to Lehman College to carry out graffiti removal and street cleanup activities. About 65 students from six nearby universities joined forces to improve the appearance of the campus entrance and surrounding streets. |

Chungbuk National University ASEZ Leads Environmental Cleanup for a Sustainable Campus

The university student volunteer group ASEZ, composed of students from Chungbuk National University (CBNU), has been continuously engaging in activities to improve the campus environment and raise environmental awareness in the local community. On April 17, CBNU ASEZ carried out a “Green Campus Cleanup Activity” in the Sachang-dong area, Cheongju, collecting household waste along a roughly 1km (0.62 miles) stretch near the university.

March 30, 2025 – International university student volunteer group ASEZ conducted a cleanup activity to protect the blue carbon ecosystem at Laguna la Encantada in the Santa Maria District of Huaura Province, Lima, Peru. The event drew significant attention as José Vásquez La Cruz, the district mayor of Santa Maria, personally participated on-site and encouraged the volunteers.

Environmental issues cannot be solved by the efforts of a single person; they require organic cooperation across all levels of society. Amid this wave of change, the voluntary participation of university students is gaining attention. The university student volunteer group ASEZ from the World Mission Society Church of God is leading the "ZERO PLASTIC 2040" campaign, envisioning a world free of plastic. |
