“Sharing Love With Neighbors”: Donation of School Supplies to Battle Grove Elementary School
On February 8, ASEZ members from Montgomery College donated school supplies and books to Battle Grove Elementary School students. ASEZ members prepared various supplies, such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and folders, for the children over a few weeks. The students were so happy to receive the supplies and expressed their gratitude with a bright smile.
“Reduce Crime Together”: Painting Murals in Buenos Aires
On Monday, January 30, 2023, ASEZ members in Buenos Aires, Argentina, painted murals to change the atmosphere of Pringles Juan Street in Tigre City and reduce crime. Mayor of Tigre Julio Zamora and eight municipal officials signed in support for ASEZ activities and their RCT Project.
“Dreaming a Crime-Free World”: RCT School for Crime Prevention
Last January, the RCT School was held in Pune, India, for a crime-free community. This time, the RCT School was carried out with both the crime-prevention education and practical activities, making it more meaningful. On January 16, cleanups were carried out on the main streets of the city, such as Deccan College Road, Samrat Ashok Road, and Airport Road. On January 18, the RCT School was held at Barrister Vitthalrao Gadgil Prathamik School.
This year marks the 53rd anniversary of Earth Day, starting with its first commemoration in 1970. “In 2023 we must come together again in partnership for the planet. Businesses, governments and civil society have a responsibility to take action against the climate crisis and ignite the spark to accelerate change towards a green, prosperous and fair future.
