☑️ Hive Billing Consumption Information Transfer Feature Added |
The Consumption Information Transfer feature allows the transfer of a user's consumption data to the market when a refund request for in-app purchases is made. This data, including the user’s consumption level and refund tendencies, helps the market analyze and set refund criteria, thus preventing fraudulent use within the game. To transfer user consumption information to the market, consent for the transfer of personal information to third parties and for international transfer must be obtained from the user. Hive SDK provides a UI that allows users to be informed about, consent to, and withdraw from data transfer.
In the console under Billing > Payment Settings > Additional Service Settings, you can enable the transfer of consumption information. Once enabled, you can obtain user consent at the time of purchase or completion of purchase via the APIs provided by the Hive SDK. These APIs can display a Consent for Consumption Information Transfer pop-up within the game, and the consent result is stored and managed on the Hive server. Games can freely display the consumption information transfer pop-up based on the last consent status and last response time retrieved from the server, allowing for accurate tracking of user agreements.
This feature is currently supported only in the Apple AppStore and requires Hive SDK v4 25.0.0 or later. For more details, please refer to the Hive SDK guide. |

☑️ APNs Token-Based Authentication Method in Hive Console Notification |
The notification settings menu in the Hive Console now offers a new token-based authentication method. This method allows the use of a single APNs certificate for multiple apps managed under an Apple Developer account.
Token-based certificates, issued per Apple Developer account, cannot be used across different Apple Developer accounts if multiple apps are involved. The issued certificate (.p8) has no expiry, meaning it doesn’t need to be renewed once issued. When a token-based certificate is registered in the Hive Console, it automatically distinguishes between production and development service states of the apps registered in the App Center.
To send push notification messages to iOS devices via token-based APNs, an APNs certificate (.p8), Key ID, and Team ID from the Apple Developer site are required. For a detailed guide on token-based APNs, please refer to the Apple guide. |
