President Moon confirmed safe after drone strike in UAE

First Paxlovid prescriptions prove successful overall
Korea’s first recipient of oral Covid-19 pill Paxlovid said his symptoms went away in less than two days. The first Covid-19 patient to be prescribed the Covid-19 pill by Pfizer is a 74-year-old man surnamed Choi who lives in Dong District, Daejeon. 

Rate and China worries translate into major Kospi retreat
The Kospi closed below 2,900 points for a second straight day Tuesday on concerns about a rate increase by the U.S. Federal Reserve and slower growth in China, where private consumption is weak. It ended Tuesday at 2,864.24, down 0.89 percent, following Monday's 1.09 percent decline to 2,890.1. 

North says Monday's missiles are in production
The two missiles North Korea fired from an airfield near Pyongyang Monday morning appeared to be KN-24 tactical guided missiles that are in production for deployment, according to state media on Tuesday.

Gukppong YouTubers get high on international validation
Last month, a YouTube video titled "Gordon Ramsay scolds a famous Japanese chef" was uploaded on a Korean channel. The thumbnail showed the renowned British chef yelling at an Asian woman, and the video claimed that during a cooking competition, Ramsay scolded a Japanese contestant who attempted to present galbi (Korean-style marinated beef ribs) as a Japanese dish. The video has garnered some 3 million views.  

'Single's Inferno' contestant admits to wearing fake designer clothing on show
Song Ji-ah, one of the participants in Netflix’s recently-ended dating reality series “Single’s Inferno,” admitted to having worn fake designer clothing while filming the show. After allegations arose online that Song wore fake designer clothes on “Single’s Inferno," she posted an apology note on her Instagram account Monday night stating that some of the claims were true.
