UPCOMING EVENTS
CODIT will be participating in the 2025 Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA) Summer Joint Conference & International Conference, taking place this June in Sejong City. The event will gather over 1,000 participants from Korea and abroad to explore AI in public administration, global policy trends, and international cooperation in shaping future governance.
We invite companies, academic institutions, researchers, and public sector leaders to join the conversation.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Ji Eun Chung, CEO of CODIT and Co-Chair of Government & External Affairs at the Korea Startup Forum, will spearhead policy outreach for the Forum’s 2025 Presidential Election Task Force. The Task Force will leverage CODIT’s AI-driven policy insights to develop and deliver strategic proposals to major political parties, aiming to shape a startup-friendly agenda ahead of the election.
CEO Chung, together with fellow women AI startup leaders, met with Rep. Choi Hyung-du, Vice Chair of the Science, ICT, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee, to discuss the AI Basic Act and startup support policies. The group introduced their companies, raised key challenges facing startups, and engaged with the People Power Party’s science and technology agenda.

CODIT has published a report analyzing the Constitutional Court’s decision to uphold President Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment and the resulting shift in the political landscape. The report outlines the constitutional grounds for the ruling, assesses business implications for the upcoming election, and highlights the importance of structured corporate response strategies. 
CODIT has published an analysis of the 2025 U.S. National Trade Estimate (NTE) Report, focusing on key issues such as digital trade and defense procurement. It highlights the potential for the NTE to become a long-term instrument of trade pressure and calls for a coordinated strategy across government, the National Assembly, and industry.
EVENTS
Moderating the AMCHAM Korea Joint Committee Meeting, CEO Chung led a discussion on Korea’s evolving AI regulatory framework with experts from AWS, IBM Korea, Kim & Chang, KLRI, and other leading companies, addressing key issues such as high-impact AI definitions, human oversight, and startup compliance support.
As Co-Chair of Government & External Affairs at the Korea Startup Forum, CEO Chung joined a National Assembly roundtable to propose startup-focused policies, including expanded access to public procurement and regulatory sandbox reform, while discussing legislative improvements with key committee members.
CODIT hosted a corporate roundtable with Jeju Governor Oh Young-hun, bringing together representatives from 25 major domestic and global companies. The discussion focused on Jeju’s digital and energy policies and explored opportunities for global collaboration
CEO Chung joined the K-Platform Future Forum hosted by ET News to discuss policy directions for Korea’s platform industry in light of the incoming Trump administration. Chung emphasized the urgent need for regulatory reform and tangible support and greater investment support amid shifting global dynamics.

CEO Chung took part in the British Embassy’s Ambassador for a day program, celebrating International Women’s Day. The event offered students a chance to experience diplomatic work and engage in discussions at the intersection of technology and globalization.
