아트선재센터 지하 일층의 백스테이지에서부터 옥상 정원까지, 다양한 공간을 넘나들며 개최되었던 전시 《오프사이트》를 모두 기억하시나요? 전시를 관람하러 방문하러 미술관에 찾아왔지만, 쉽게 접근하기 힘들었던 장소들 곳곳에서 작품을 만날 수 있었던 흥미로운 전시였는데요! 다가오는 8월, 그 두 번째 이야기가 펼쳐집니다. 전시명은 《오프사이트2: 열한 가지 에피소드》입니다. 이번 전시는 차세대 한국 여성, 젠더 퀴어 작가 11팀이 함께할 예정입니다!

Do you remember the exhibition off-site, which unfolded across various spaces of the Art Sonje Center—from the backstage on the basement level to the rooftop garden? It was a fascinating exhibition where visitors came to see art at the museum but encountered works in unexpected, hard-to-access locations throughout the building. This year, its second chapter unfolds: off-site2: Eleven Episodes. Featuring eleven emerging Korean women and genderqueer artists and collectives, the exhibition continues to expand the boundaries of artistic space and storytelling.

스페이스 포 컨템포러리 아트의 레지던시 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 오스트리아 작가 스테판 티펜그라버의 전시 《세운지구 1–5구역》이 오는 7월 15일, (투게더)(투게더)에서 개최됩니다! 한국예술종합학교의 교환학생으로 13년 전 서울에 처음 방문했던 작가는, 2025년 서울에 다시 돌아와 그사이 급격하게 변화한 세운지구에 주목합니다. 작가가 카메라의 회전, 프레임, 셔터 속도와 같은 장치들을 활용해 만든 노이즈처럼 깜빡이고 리드미컬한 이미지들은 질주하듯 변화하는 서울의 모습을 가늠하도록 합니다.

Austrian artist Stefan Tiefengraber, currently participating in the residency program at Space for Contemporary Art, will present his solo exhibition Sewoon District: Zone 1–5 this July at (together)(together). Tiefengraber first came to Seoul thirteen years ago as an exchange student at the Korea National University of Arts. Now, in 2025, he returns to a city that has undergone rapid transformation—particularly in the Sewoon District, which becomes the focal point of his work. Utilizing mechanisms such as camera rotation, framing, and shutter speed, the artist creates flickering, rhythmic images that resemble visual noise. Through these experimental visuals, he invites viewers to grasp the swift and relentless pace of change in Seoul.

홍영인 작가의 전시 도록이 드디어 발간됩니다! 이번 도록은 작업 사전 단계에서 조사, 수집한 역사적 사료들과 퍼포먼스 <다섯 극>을 위해 퍼포머들에게 사전으로 공유했던 자료 등 완성된 미술 작품 이면에 있는 ‘과정’을 여실히 보여주는데요. 이번 도록의 백미는, 작가가 직접 리서치한 사진 자료들이 트레이싱지로 함께 인쇄된 부분이랍니다! 곧 아트선재센터 더북스에서 만나보실 수 있습니다.

The exhibition catalogue of Young In Hong: Five Acts & A Monologue is finally being published! This catalogue offers a rare glimpse into the "process" behind her finished artworks, featuring historical materials she researched and collected during the early stages of her projects, as well as documents previously shared with performers in preparation for her performance Five Acts. A true highlight of the publication is the inclusion of the artist’s own research photographs, printed on tracing paper—offering a layered and tactile experience of her working methodology. The catalogue will soon be available at The Books at Art Sonje Center.
