01. 맛집 πŸ₯˜
This is one of the MOST important slangs to know -- especially if you're travelling to Korea and looking for good food! 

Let's break down the word:
  • 맛 (mat) - taste (but short for λ§›μžˆλŠ”) which means yummy or delicious 
  • 집 (jib)- literally means house -- but we use this word after foods to mean "restuarant" for example, κ΅­λ°₯집 would mean a restaurant that sells κ΅­λ°₯ (guk-bap)

This is the word that is used to describe a restaurant that is super good! It's honestly so embedded into everyday korean that in order to search for a good restaurant you gotta search "area name + 맛집" or "food name + 맛집" to get the LEGIT recommendations that locals are going to! 

I promise you'll thank me on your next trip~ ❀️
02. 극혐 😷
This one may or may not be useful DEPENDING on the situation but use it sparingly because it is quite a strong term!

Let's break it down! 
  • 극혐 (geuk-hyum) is short for κ·Ήν•œμ˜ 혐였 
  • κ·Ήν•œ means extreme 
  • 혐였 means disgust, hatred 

So 극혐 means extreme hatred or disgust. You can use it like this:

"μ•„ μ§„μ§œ κ·Ήν˜μ΄λ‹€" which would mean "ugh thats seriously disgusting"

Use it sparingly!!! But since is is a really common term I'm sure you have all seen this in dramas or TV shows in general! This is also one of the terms that is more used in the short form than it is in the long form! Hope this helps ❀️
  
03. λͺ¨μ  πŸ˜“
This one is also SUPER common and I'm sure you've heard it in dramas and reality TV. Let's learn what it means and how to use it!

Let's break down the word:
  • λͺ¨ (mo) - short for "λͺ¨νƒœ" which literally means womb of your mother 
  • 쏠 (sseol)- short for μ†”λ‘œ which is just the Korean way of writing "solo" (romanized) 

So this term literally means: solo since birth (since you were in the womb) But people use it to describe people who have never dated anyone. It's not always negative so don't worry but if someone asks you if you're λͺ¨μ , you can reply with either λ„€ or μ•„λ‹ˆμš”!
