A Renewed Promise in a Moment of Celebration ✨ BTF Founder Kim Jong-ki Receives the Hyupsung Social Contribution Award 🏆

🌱 A Tribute to Dedication — An Award Ceremony for Just One Person 💕 |
|
|
Since 2011, the Hyupsung Social Contribution Award has honored individuals who have quietly devoted themselves to the betterment of society, practiced love for their neighbors, and contributed to the public good.
As the flagship initiative of the Hyupsung Cultural Foundation, established by Chairman Cheol-won Jeong of the Busan-based company Hyupsung Construction, this award is unlike a typical annual prize. Rather than selecting recipients on a fixed schedule, the foundation chooses to hold a special ceremony for one person when it discovers an individual whose contributions deserve to be deeply recognized—spotlighting one person’s life of service and dedication at a time. ✨🔍
On March 10, Kim Jong-ki, founder of The Blue Tree Foundation (BTF), was honored with this meaningful award! 🎉🎉 This recognition is made even more special by the heartfelt story that led to it. |

Last January, an interview article was published highlighting the 31-year journey of BTF Founder Kim Jong-ki, who has devoted his life to raising awareness for school violence prevention in our society. Deeply moved by the story, the Hyupsung Cultural Foundation graciously reached out first, saying that they wished to express their “deep respect for such a life of dedication.” |

“This award is a warm comfort for the tears and sweat we have shared in planting a ‘blue tree’ in barren land. The true recipients of this award are the dedicated staff working in the field, our supporters, the Blue Stars, and the precious children who have risen again after pain.”

|
This award is especially moving because, although it was presented to one person, it is in truth an encouragement extended to everyone who has walked this path together with a united heart for a long time.
Mr. Kim’s award speech was filled solely with his love for youth. It is thanks to those who resonated with that sincerity and stood alongside him that these 31 years of dedication could continue—and that same faith has now led to this meaningful recognition. 🛤️
This award, reached after 31 years of dedication, is not an ending, but another promise. It was a time filled not only with celebration, but also with a renewed commitment to do even more for young people. ✨
BTF will continue moving forward with unwavering dedication to build a world where young people can dream freely and smile brightly. 🤗💖
