Syncathon Season 3, 'AI-based online development competition
Hello! 😀

Syncathon Season 3, 'AI-based online development competition' held in Korea last October, concluded with an offline awards ceremony. It was the largest ever with a total of 800 teams participating, and its theme of 'Developing creative financial and insurance services using various AI services (ChatGPT, Dall-E, etc.)', received a lot of attention for the following three features.

1. Sponsored by Korea’s three leading financial companies

(KB Kookmin Bank, NH Nonghyup Bank, and Kyobo Life Planet)

2. Opportunity to utilize approximately 50 APIs from three financial companies for direct development in SyncTree Block Store

3. The largest in Syncathon history,

the total prize is about 9,000 dollars.

Are you curious about what ideas were featured in Syncathon Season 3? So, we have prepared the topic <Syncathon Season 3 Summary> today!

👀 “What kind of people participated in Syncathon Season 3?”

Approximately 70% of participants were students, job seekers, and those preparing to start a business. In addition, people from various occupations, such as office workers, developers, solopreneurs, and startup workers, participated. I think there was a lot of interest from people who had many bright ideas but were desperately looking for an opportunity to implement them. In particular, there was a lot of feedback that the most special thing was being able to directly use the 'APIs of the three financial companies', which was not easy in usual times!

🤷‍♀️ "So, tell me now. Who's the winner?"

The grand prize went to 'Banking Now', a banking service for the visually impaired!
<Banking Now> received high scores from all judges of the three financial companies, with comments such as 'It was a novel idea that had been thought of before'. And it won the honor of the grand prize with a service that includes 'originality of ideas', 'completeness of function implementation', and 'consideration for the socially disadvantaged'.

In particular, after learning about the story of the twists and turns that the <Banking Now> service team experienced before participating in Syncathon Season 3, the meaning of Syncathon, which provides 'an opportunity for anyone to quickly and nimbly test their ideas' shined even brighter.

Don't miss to check out the <Banking Now> team's service demo video, and you can also check out all the services of the Syncathon Season 3 winning teams through the SyncTree blog link below! ! 😊
