Dig into Myeongdong, Revamping Its Glorious Past |
|
|
Slowly but surely, Myeongdong is climbing to the top of everyone’s “must-go” lists whether they are traveling from abroad or within the city. With even more diverse and vibrant atmosphere, Myeongdong now appeals quite foreign to just about anyone. There are more things to experience than K-pop music playing on the streets and hours and hours of shopping. Don’t forget to check out the Myeongdong Theater, which hosts a variety of events and art performances, the Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center for picking up last-minute souvenirs, and last but not least, the food stalls neatly lined up along the main street where you can easily find food to satiate everyone’s palate. Visit Seoul has more stories on the Myeongdong Cathedral emanating a serene and sacred ambience that should not be missed, also on Da-dong & Mugyo-dong Food Culture Street located nearby, which is one of the oldest food alleys in Seoul that offers more than 200 kinds of culinary delights. |
