Greetings from Mr. Yusuf! As I reflect on my journey, I'm thrilled to share that I'm celebrating my 6th year at Charlie's Big Red House, marking the longest tenure I've ever had in South Korea. My adventure began as a teacher for 5-year-olds, guiding them through their formative years for two rewarding years. Transitioning to teaching 6-year-olds added another layer of growth over the next two years. And now, as the Head Teacher for the past year and a few months, I've had the privilege of leading our educational initiatives. At Charlie's, I've found boundless inspiration and trust from management to craft dynamic and enjoyable experiences for our students. This environment motivated me to pursue further studies in 2021. Instead of seeking new horizons after certification, I chose to stay, leveraging my expertise to enhance our students' learning journey. What truly sets Charlie's apart for me—and serves as a beacon during challenging times—is the profound connections I've forged with our students. Witnessing their progress and development over the years fills me with immense pride. Welcoming them with smiles as they enter our doors remains the highlight of my day. Equally remarkable is the bond we cultivate with parents. Collaborating with them to unlock each student's potential is a unique aspect of our work here—one that I hadn't encountered in my 13 years of teaching in South Korea. In essence, my time at Charlie's Big Red House has been defined by growth, inspiration, and meaningful relationships—a journey I'm deeply rateful to be on.
