The Korea Genome Industry Council under KoreaBIO, announced on the 28th that it held its first general meeting in 2025 and elected Dong-jik Shin, CEO of MEDIZEN HUMANCARE, as its new chairman.

Launched in 2015, the council supports genomic analysis services, regulatory responses, and policy improvements.
