βοΈ Hive Billing PG Payment Consumer Protection Act Phrase Addition for California, USA |
Starting this year, the enforcement of California's Consumer Protection Act for Digital Media (AB 2426) mandates informing consumers that they do not actually own the digital content purchased. As of March 18, a compliant phrase will be added to the PG payment UI. This phrase will only be displayed for the country USA and when the language is set to English.
Clicking "Learn more" will display the terms of use page. Terms of use can be set in Hive Console > Provisioning > Terms. |

βοΈ Hive Community Withdrawal Feature Addition |
A withdrawal feature has been added to the Hive Community. Withdrawals can be processed in Community > User Profile > Profile Settings.
Withdrawing from the community is different from withdrawing from a game account and means withdrawing from the community service only. Upon withdrawal, the user's posts will show the author as "Withdrawn User," and the CommunityID and Player ID will be deleted, making user identification impossible.
If you log back into the community, you will automatically rejoin and can use it immediately, but posts made before withdrawal cannot be restored to the user. |
