작년 12월부터 올해 1월까지 아트선재센터에서 열렸던 《언두 플래닛》이 방콕예술문화센터(BACC)에 다시 찾아옵니다! '언두(Undo)'라고 하면 컴퓨터에서 실수 취소 키가 떠오르지만, 이번 전시의 '언두'는 단순히 되돌리는 것을 넘어, '열다', '풀다'라는 의미까지 담고 있답니다 🌱 두 개의 파트로 구성된 이번 전시 중 첫 번째 파트는 한국전쟁 이후 만들어진 디엠지를 중심으로, 이 지역의 역사와 생태를 바라보는 새로운 시선으로 탐구합니다. 작가들의 예술적 접근을 통해 인간 중심 사고를 넘어 자연과 공존하는 회복의 가능성을 경험해보세요. 방콕에서 열리는 《언두 플래닛》과 함께 지속 가능한 미래를 생각해 보는 시간, 놓치지 마세요! 🌿

Undo the Planet, which was on view at Art Sonje Center from December last year to January this year, is coming back to BACC in Bangkok! When you hear “Undo,” you might think of the undo key on a computer, but in this exhibition, “Undo” goes beyond simply reversing—it also carries the meaning of “opening” and “unfolding”. The first part of the exhibition, set in the DMZ established after the Korean War, explores the history and ecology of this unique region from a fresh perspective. Through the artists’ approaches, the exhibition invites us to move beyond human-centered thinking and experience the possibilities of coexistence with nature. Don’t miss this chance to meet the Earth again in Bangkok!

Heemin Chung and Siggi Hofer capture the colors, structures, and everyday moments they experience in each city in their own unique ways. <ASJC 리딩리스트>는 2026년 3월 개최 예정인 《Spectrosynthesis Seoul(가제)》 전시와 연계해, 퀴어 작가들의 작업과 퀴어 정체성, 감수성을 다양한 텍스트로 만나는 온라인 프로그램입니다. 11월 한 달간 이어진 총 4회차 중, 현재 3회차까지 마쳤는데요, 매 회차 깊은 이야기 나눔에 함께해주신 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다 🙏 곧 이어질 마지막 4회차에서는 김봉곤 작가의 「기록적」(2023)을 함께 읽으며, 일상의 순간과 감정을 '기록하는 행위'가 퀴어 서사를 어떻게 새롭게 열어가는지 이야기 나눌 예정입니다. 동시대 퀴어적 글쓰기를 더 깊이 느낄 수 있는 시간이 될 테니 많은 기대 부탁드려요! 💫

The ASJC Reading List is an online program connected to the upcoming exhibition Spectrosynthesis Seoul (working title), scheduled for March 2026. Through a range of texts, the program invites participants to explore queer artists’ practices, as well as queer identities and sensibilities. Over the course of November, we have completed three of the four planned sessions, and we sincerely thank everyone who has joined us in these thoughtful and engaging conversations. In our final fourth session, we will read Kim Bong-gon’s short story “Recordic” (2023) and discuss how the act of recording everyday moments and emotions can open up new ways of shaping queer narratives. We hope you’ll look forward to this opportunity to delve deeper into the possibilities of contemporary queer writing! |

On November 20, Art Sonje Center held a special Late-night opening of Adrián Villar Rojas: The Language of the Enemy—just for one day! Visitors had the unique opportunity to experience the museum at night, exploring the unfamiliar and hybrid sculptures, and the space where digital and reality intertwine. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us, and stay tuned for more exciting events and special experiences at Art Sonje Center. Please note that the exhibition will also have a Late-night opening on Thursday, December 11, so don’t miss this chance to experience the museum in a whole new light!
