On March 20, Spectrosynthesis Seoul opens its doors.🌈 The title combines "spectrum"—referring both to the phenomenon of light dispersing into rainbow colors and to diversity—and "synthesis", the process of bringing ideas and objects together. Bringing these concepts into dialogue, the exhibition explores the present moment of contemporary queer art and its possibilities through the diverse voices and perspectives of 74 artists. Throughout March, a series of talk programs with participating artists including Muyeong Kim, Jaewon Kim, Lee Mingwei, Min Yoon, Au Sow Yee, Ibanjiha, and Jimin Hah will take place, along with a performance by Woojin Jeon. Further details, including schedules and booking information, will be announced soon via the Art Sonje Center website and Instagram. |

Axel Koschier's exhibition yongryang (mountain–river), presented as part of the SCA Residency Program, will open on March 4 in the Hanok Garden at Art Sonje Center. The work draws on the scale and structure of the Seoul residency where the artist is currently staying. The dash (–) in the exhibition title refers to the site of the work, located between Bugaksan and the Han River. 🚏 Koschier focuses on the process through which the piece emerges from the encounter between site, experience, and materials. We invite you to encounter the landscape of Seoul by the artist, unfolding within the Hanok Garden. 🏡
