30 Projects from 20 Countries Selected amid a Third Consecutive Year of
Record Submissions, Highlighting Regional Diversity and Genre Range
Asian Project Market (APM) 2026, one of the cornerstone programs of the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), has revealed the 30 projects officially selected for its 2026 edition.
This year, APM received 604 submissions from 48 countries, setting a new all-time submission record for the third consecutive year. As international interest in Asian feature film projects continues to grow, the figure marks a year-on-year increase of approximately 30%.
From this extensive pool, 30 projects representing 20 countries were selected. This year’s lineup spans a wide range of genres and narratives, including courtroom drama, coming-of-age film, family drama, crime thriller, queer romantic comedy, black comedy, and mystery thriller. The lineup brings together feature-debut projects by emerging filmmakers and new projects by directors recognized at international film festivals.
Meet the Selected Projects at APM
All selected projects will be presented at the Asian Project Market Showcase on 10 October, the first day of the market. Participants can learn firsthand about each project’s creative vision and production status, while exploring emerging trends in Asian cinema and opportunities for co-production.
Over four days, from 10 to 13 October, the selected projects will meet with industry professionals working in investment, co-production, distribution, and other fields. Market badge holders can reserve business meetings with selected projects in advance, enabling more efficient business networking.
